Week 4 EOC: There's an app for that

The New Canon 7D has several apps. For example The EOS 7D offers the enhanced image quality, smooth frame rates and adaptive exposure compensation necessary in a professional movie-making tool. By shooting video with a large sensor camera, it's simple to take advantage of the image characteristics intrinsic to SLR photography and not necessarily to video cameras.
In addition to a number of different recording size and frame rate modes, the EOS 7D enables easy manual control of exposure, focus and Live View features and even allows for in-camera editing. The large CMOS sensor and compatibility with over 60 lenses provide a wealth of depth-of-field options. And it's all as easy as the press of a button - the EOS 7D has a dedicated Live View/Movie Recording lever with a start/stop button that gets the shooting started fast.
Full HD Video is captured at 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30p (29.97), 24p (23.976) or 25p frames per second, for up to 4GB per clip. Movies are saved as .MOV files and can be viewed in Full HD with HDMI output. Other recording sizes include HD at 1280 x 720 (50p / 60p (59.94) fps) or SD/VGA at 640 x 480 (50p / 60p (59.94) fps).

Great Customer Service

My best Customer Service experience is when one day I went to P.F. Chang’s and the waitress was very nice and took care of us while we ate there and due to the fact that I spoke to her in my limited Mandarin Chinese. She was well impressed with that and mainly surprised that I told her that I am Guatemalan in Mandarin. In this case it helped me to help her perform greatly in her job, just mainly due to the fact that I intended to speak to her in her native tongue. This really meant something greatly for her, because one of her customers took the trouble to ask simple things in her native tongue while ordering food. Then afterwards, she kept coming back and forth to the table where we were sitting and she was just overwhelmed with joy due to the fact that I intended to speak to her in Mandarin. Also I liked the fact that I left a major impression on her with intending to speak Mandarin, just by saying simple words like please, hello, thank you, your welcome, etc…In my personal opinion, that was the best customer service experience I really ever had in years, also I would like to add to this is that if you treat the people that serve you with respect and dignity, they will definitely take care of you.

EOC week 1:My Voice

I was born in Guatemala, came here when I was 6 years old, and now I'm studying at the Art Institute of Las Vegas to become a photography major and to travel the world one day in the near future. As a photography major, one must have the vision and drive to take pictures of everything. Anything from taking pictures of animals, food, to people, skyscrapers, world events, etc..
