Final Project: Pitch
I have come up with Cusha Vodka's first in-season flavor. Our first flavor is Guava Mango. The Guava is farmed and picked in the Department of Izabal, nearby Puerto Barrios in the Carribean, it's picked between April to the ends of June. We are a boutique product that produces in small batches from a small distillery along the coast of Izabal. Cusha Vodka is looking forward to produce new flavors in the nearby future. They are Pineapple Orange, Pineapple are usually grown and picked in the department of Escuintla nearby the Pacific Ocean, where the climate is humid and tropical. Cusha Vodka is Premium Brand and our bottles will be priced around $40-$50 at stores like Albertsons, Smiths, Vons, Food for less, etc..."Although such value pitches might work for now, long-term national-brand success requires continued investment in product innovation and brand marketing"Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing pg 232. Which that is the plan for Cusha Vodka has for our long term success. We plan on constantly upgrading our products, evolving as a company through time and staying in the public eye through innovative and trendsetting marketing.

Week 10 EOC, BOC: Les Paul
Lester William Polsfuss also known as Les Paul was an American jazz and country guitarist, was known as the "Grandfather of Rock and Roll, was born on June 9, 1915 to George and Evelyn Polsfuss. While living in Milwaukee, Paul became interested in music at the early age of 8 years old, when he started playing the harmonica. After an attempt on learning the banjo, he learned how to play the guitar. It was during that time that he invented a neck-worn harmonica holder, which allowed him to play the harmonica hands-free while accompanying himself on the guitar.
EOC Week 9: Creative Content
My creative content for my final project is not 100% decided on, but i am pretty sure it is going to include a powerpoint of some sort from me to come up with the bottling presentation that i envision to be my creative content for my final project
Week 9 EOC: Three mission statements
Mission statements should be meaningful and specific yet motivating. The mission of Verb Vodka is to give a quality beverage to accent a good time, as well as promoting responsibility when consuming alcoholic beverages and participating in sexual activities. Verb vodka like “some companies—such as Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, Timberland, and others—are practicing “caring capitalism,” setting themselves apart by being civic-minded and responsible. They are building social responsibility and action into their company value and mission statements.” I like Grover's mission statement.....It's genuine, very creative and convincing for any customer who is into vodka and having a good time with friends.
The process of distillation is what gives Vice Vodka it signature taste, by 3 levels which strengthens, purify and smoothens out the luscious fruit flavors. Adding the best tasting fruit flavors mixed with the top recipes of vodka, will bring you on a journey of epic proportions on four different levels, by bringing it to you in 4 special bottles. Enjoy the Best 40 years of great tasting vodka with our Vice Vodka Collection, It will surprise you. Vice Vodka make it you Vice. I also like Sean's statement of his product...it's unique, original, and very sinful for those who wants to dolge in any sinful vices and activities.
"A clear mission statement acts as an “invisible hand” that guides people in the organization", Marketing: An Introduction, Armstrong/Kotler, pg. 39), it is important that Your brand has something special that is going to distinguish you from all the other brands of spirits out there, that are already established. It all starts out by your Mission statement. What do you want to accomplish 5, 10, 20 years from now. Luis's statement is very convincing, from this, it seems that he has experience in the industry and he knows how to sell a product well and effectively.

Week 3 EOC: Charitable Companies
According to the Forbes website there are many different companies that are contributing large amounts of money to different organizations. Some of these companies that are on the top of the Forbes list are Wal-Mart, Target, and Coca-Cola. Wal-Mart alone donated 197 million dollars in 2004. Target followed behind in 2004 with 88.8 million dollars. And Coca-Cola donated 67.2 million dollars. There was another company that tops them all, “Pfizer would rank No. 1, with more than $1.2 billion of cash and in-kind donations, or 21% of its 2003 earnings. That is the first time a company topped the $1 billion mark in the 11 years the Chronicle has been keeping track.” As said in the Forbes website. There are many companies that donate funds as well as tangible items such as clothes and food. A lot of this money is dispersed to different research companies as well as victims of weather catastrophes.
